Product Description

Each post measures 8ft long x 110mm wide x 110mm deep with a recess on either side to accept our composite fence panels. They also come with a 2mtr galvanised steel reinforcement for added strength.

Formed from a hybrid mix of wood flour and PVC, composite fencing offers a matte finish for a naturally beautiful appearance and is available in three colours – carbon grey, chestnut brown and sandstone.

The colour of the wood polymer composite ‘naturalises’ within the first few weeks of exposure to daylight, before settling to its final effect. The brown and grey colours develop to a softer shade, while the olive lightens to a more sandy appearance.

Environmentally friendly

The wood flour used in Liniar composite fencing comes from recycled sources, and combined with recycled window grade durable uPVC, results in an environmentally friendly fencing system. The density of Liniar composite fencing means that it is strong enough to stand up to the elements for many years while remaining surprisingly lightweight.

Liniar composite fencing benefits from all the other advantages that the rest of its fencing range is already renowned for.

  • Can be used with existing concrete or timber posts
  • Hard wearing and tough
  • No risk of splinters
  • Maintenance free, requiring no painting or staining.

Please note
During the extrusion process the recycled PVC granules are heated up to 195 degrees, the molten PVC is the fed into the toll to form the profile of the gravel board or post. Once out of the tool the gravel board or post is immersed in water to cool the PVC down. As you can imagine once heated to 195 degrees and even after being immersed in cold water the profile still retains some residual heat. When the gravel  boards or posts are packed this residual heat can cause the boards and posts to sweat and this can cause a blotchy pattern. This is perfectly normal and after being in the sun and fresh air they will weather naturally. This is NOT a fault with the items just merely a side effect of the manufacturing process.
